There was a time when I was like, “Gold costume jewelry is NEVER coming back!  I don’t know why Carrie Bradshaw is trying to make it work.”   I said that. For true. The answer was, well because she’s Carrie Bradshaw.  Or more accurately, Pat Feilds.  Obv knew what she was doing.  And years later, when I see some gold and chunky and gaudy, or gold and delicate and tasteful, I just say “swoon” and then put them all on at once.
